Is A Remedy For Seasickness Also One Of The Better Natural Morning Sickness Cures?

Since nausea and vomiting are the defining symptoms of morning sickness and seasickness, it should come as no surprise that the two maladies share a common cure. What is this cure? The sea band – a long established remedy for seasickness that, as it turns out, is also one of the better natural morning sickness cures available.

When men set out to sea, it's only natural for them to get a little queasy. And yet somehow, despite the likelihood of their heads spinning and their stomachs protesting, we rarely hear tales of sailors being on the receiving end of nausea during a voyage. Which is unusual, considering how often they go out to sea.

It's possible we seldom hear of these stories because sailors manage to hide their less than awe-inspiring tales well, or simply because they have found a way to deal with their urge to purge, not to mention having their heads spin around like a merry-go-round.

If the latter was the case, then it wouldn't be hard to imagine the fabled sea band to be responsible for it. And though this may very well be the first time you've heard of it, the sea band is not even remotely close to being a legendary artifact or a secret privy only to seafarers. Not when it's recognized to be one of the more reputable natural morning sickness cures on the market and can be found in the drug store a few blocks down the road.

Truth be told, the fabled sea band is nothing more than a regular acupressure wrist band – not exactly something that evokes images of myth and legend. It's a simple device with a not-so-simple function: to relieve the feeling of nausea and significantly reduce the risk and severity of vomiting.

While these bands are made of humble plastic and can be adjusted to fit the common man (or woman), there is nothing ordinary about what it can do. If worn correctly (placed three quarters of an inch down the wrist), these bands allow anyone to target an acupuncture point known as pericardium 6. Reputed to keep nausea at bay when pressure is applied to it several times a day, this acupuncture point could well be the key to nipping morning sickness symptoms in the bud.

These bands also work quickly, as can be expected from natural morning sickness cures. Even if they don't manage to keep morning sickness symptoms at bay, they still provide immediate relief when these symptoms rear their ugly heads.

And not only are these bands effective, they are also inexpensive, and most importantly, safe. They cause no harm to the wearer or her fetus, and are thus more than deserving of their reputation as one of the best natural morning sickness cures out there today.
